The two top Idoma born top stars explained the reasons behind their no show in the just concluded Mark D’ Ball.
According to 2face:He decided not to make an appearance at the opening and closing ceremonies of the recently concluded Mark D’ Ball following the poor infrastructural state of Otukpo, the traditional headquarters of Benue South.
Tuface has been used as the poster boy of the poorly attended and badly organized 2015 Mark D’ Ball tournament.
The celebrity, while confiding in his close associates in Abuja on New Year eve, said he cannot be used to market a bad product as against the choice of the ancestors of the Benue South people.
Tuface said his people have suffered enough, hence his prayers for them is that they should be delivered of their affliction and would not want to be seen rubbing salt on their injuries.
When contacted, the effervescent singer threw it back at us by simply saying she shunned the event due to the organiser's continuous disrespect for Idoma-breed entertainers and i cannot be used as a campaign tool.
"it is a child play and I don't bring myself down. I can't honour those who don't honour my own. Ignoring the invitation was a personal reason and I owe no apology over my action." she futher explained that markdball is the highest fraud of all time and in due time she will let her idoma fans know the reasons behind that statement. She said the homebase artistes whom are pure idoma blood are humiliated and underated in their home town, she was shocked that someone like mtn project fame winner would beg for a show in her fathers land and artiste like Jeofery, immaculate,Enenche, etc are been ignored.
Another shocking revelation about the event, which resident are already tagging 'Mark D Dull' was that residents of Otukpo have refused to show up despite the much publicity and media hypes.
Most of them who spoke with our correspondent said they were not interested in the event as it has not brought any meaningful development to the land. below are what they said:
Mehn, I'm out of this place," Jenny said before she stormed out of the venue as the crowd began to expressed dissatisfaction when it was becoming all political affair.
